Happy Monday!
Hope that you enjoyed the 4th of July weekend! It was relaxing, fun, and all that good stuff.
Wanted to share a picture of my up line, Holly and I at The Angel Company seminar - banquet night. Hot Mammas! LOL It is kind of hard to see our angel wings - but of course we have them!
Fritz and I are headed to Montana for a few days to spend time with family. His mom has been battling liver and lung cancer for a year now - and the cancer has continued to grow. Please add her to your prayer list. This has been a challenging year!
enjoy the week!

Oh!!! And the Vintage set for this month! Frogs!
Tomorrow night at 6:30 is my new catalog/idea book Release Party! Fun little project along with some yummy chicken enchiladas thanks to DH. He makes the best enchiladas! Hope you can join me! ;)
We are headed home next week to visit the kids and family. My parents are living in a Fifth-Wheel right now while they are waiting for their new modular to get all moved into place... OK I know you are making "trailer" jokes - I make them all the time too - however, if you saw the gorgeous spot where they lived on the golf course in Montana - you would live in a fifth-wheel for awhile too! LOL Anyway - hoping that while I am home we can have a little stamp party. My mom is an "angel" too - but she hasn't ever done a FUNshop. Being that she is hoping to retire soon, we need to get her wings "wet!" LOL

Bloom and Grow
Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend! I know that I did. It is good to be home ~ and big applause for the airlines that I traveled on yesterday. I arrived on time and took off on time for all three legs of my trip!
Onto the project for today!
This one I have been so excited to share! It is one that I made for a special swap group that I belong too. And the trades that I recieved were totally fabulous!!! To make this little cutie, I crocheted tons of little 6 petal flowers to match the Marvy 6 petal punch. I used buttons and wire to stick all the layers together. To make the round flower, I punched two sizes of circles (blue and pink Marvy) and then made cute about 1/4 way into the circle all the way around. I stuck some floral foam into the cans and added some spanish moss to keep the wired stems in place. I am loving the crocheted flowers! I made a bunch more on the plane. Great way to pass the time on those 3 1/2 hour flights! The stamp set is one that retired from TAC - sorry... :( but there are a lot of companies that have "bloom and grow" sayings - or any flower like saying would be ideal.
If you are local and have been following my Google calendar - please notice that I have moved my catalog reveal party to THIS THURSDAY. Please RSVP. Thanks. ;)

Fun at Seminar!
Well, on my way after a totally fun weekend at The Angel Company's Seminar in Wichita at the Hyatt. My feet are a wee bit tired of the sock hop last night! It was too much fun and the costumes were so fantastic!!! My fave had to be Heather though - she was our "Jan" from Grease and carried around her tooth brush! Hilarious! (Remember that part in Grease where Jan sings along with the tooth brush commercial? "Brusha, brusha, brusha..." LOL)
The new catalog/idea book was released. Some very cute stamps! We were able to stamp images from about 8 or so different sets. I can't wait to get home and start coloring and creating!
ClubMED also had fantastic prop swaps! Here is what I made. Jenny McGee got it. :) I used a
Timeless Template from Paepertrey Ink. I think it is the carry along. I found 10 Chocolate Rules and printed them for the front pocket. The inside has a tin with decorated chocolate. This is the swap that I made for ClubMED. I found the inspiration again in Cards magazine. The pillow box is a die cut that I used the clam shells that our stamps come in. Very "green!" Now I need more stamps to get more boxes! LOL The pillow box is filled with a rainbow pack of licorice. Yummy! These were fun and easy to make. A great birthday favor! The stamp is from TAC as well. I will have more to post later this week. I am sure that there will be some great pictures cirucalting from this weekend. ;)

A Little Birdie Told Me...
Only one more day until the new catalog is released from The Angel Company! I am very excited - can you tell! LOL
"A little birdie told me" is one of my favorite sayings - I wonder where it came from?
The card that I have to share today (fourth day in a row! Whoo hoo!) is one of my trades for seminar. So, if you are going to seminar - come find me to trade! I have to give Kudos to the latest issue of Cards magazine for the inspiration for this card.
I used The Angel Company's ultra smooth white card stock for the body of the card, the roof and door are from the Penelope paper pack, a stamp set available online only - Early Bird, button from one of the ultra cute In Blossom button/flower packs, and can't live with out it - Scrapper's Floss in brown. The ink is Palette in Burnt Umber and Landscape. I let it dry and used Pantone markers to color and add detail. I stitched the roof for some added accent as well as the door so that it actually opened - using the little button as a door knob. I must have sewn something on a uniform for DH last using my sewing machine, because it had a lovely BDU green thread in it - and it was perfect for my little house! :)
Well, here is to a day of hanging out in airports and flying to Wichita!

Dutch Blue
I am going for a new blogging record! Three in a row! Whoo-hoo!!!!
This is one of my favorite stamps sets from the spring Serindipity magalogue release. "A Kind of Gratitude." The dark blue cardstock is from DCWV that The Angel Company carries in 8 1/2 x 11 in packs of 25! So rocks!!! I think that this are Purple 1 (looks Navy). The lighter blue in the background is from the "blues" Bazzill paperpack that TAC carries. The white is the Ultrasmooth from TAC. I love the weight of it. Not too heavy, not too light. Great when coloring with Copics (doesn't seap through the paper). The label looking stamp is from a hostess set in the Serendipity magalogue. Maybe it will be available for sale in the new catalog/idea book?!?!?!? I'll let you know on Thursday! ;) I stamped the flower image three times and cut out the middle cirlce, then the leaf part and added it to the larger whole flower for a 3-D look. I did use my Copics to color - but bad girl, I didn't write down which ones. The colors for this card were inspired by some stickers that I picked up at the Michael's $1 spot. It reminds me of some Danish dishes that my grandmother had. Oh! and this was also a sketch challenge hosted by the lovely Heather Scott!

OK, on a completely different note... last night I finally updated my iphone with the new 3.0 version. LOVE it!!!! The copy/paste feature is the best! I can't waint until AT&T comes out with picture messaging. That is the only thing that I don't like about the iphone... other than that, happy consumer here! Also - getting ready to head out to Seminar tonight. It makes for a LONG night those red-eye flights! But, I am downloading a couple new movies from itunes and updating my ipod for the trip!
Have a great day!

A Little Love
Wow! I am on a role! Three days in a row!!! Has to be a record for me here!!!
This card I made this winter too - for a swap. The "love" is stamped on shrink plastic. It kind of has a "Love Elsie" look to it - at least that was my inspiration. Love her art work!!! The stamp of the fun oval is from, Sassy Girl, from The Angel Company. It is on sale, 25% off and not available after this week!! This was my #1 favorite stamp set last year. Just so sassy!!! ~ and the heart is from Linear Sentiments, TAC too. And can't forget the Stickles! I used the glitter Spica pens from Copic for the added detail at the bottom. Monday... usually I stay in bed until the last minute to get up and ready for work. This morning for some odd reason - I was up (and out of bed) before 6am!!! Hope the rest of my day is as productive!
Happy Monday!

Hats Off!
I got to spend the ENTIRE day to day make cards! It was the same card 40 times over, but it was so awesome! I haven't spent a day like this in ages!!! Have to get my swaps ready for The Angel Company's Seminar next week in Whichita, KS.
Here is another card that I made - this spring. I had a couple contests this winter/spring for my down line in The Angel Company. This was one of the cards that I sent with their goodie box! I was into the basic, clean look. Paper is again the Pop Rockz from The Angel Company as is the stamp set, "Hats Off." The little faces in this set are really cute. The die cut is the left over middle from a Nestability. Every bit of paper counts! :) I used my old old old Pantone markers to color this little gal. Little by little they are dieing off and being replaced with Copics. Only thing I am missing with the change is the tiny third tip my Pantones have. Great for little detail. Oh well...
Another Monday is coming fast! And only two more days until I leave for Seminar!!! Whoo-hoo! Can't wait to spend some quality "girlie-girl" time with my peeps!

Happy Summer!!!!
Summer Solstice is here! Today in Fairbanks, we get 100% daylight! Hopefully no rain as well...
I have a card to share! I know, it has been awhile! I would like to be able to say that I have a good excuse as to my absence, but other than work and busy life - not really! I kind of lost my mojo this winter, I think. It was a LONGGGG winter...
So, no more waiting!
Here is it! (a little late or WAY early - depends on how you look at it!)"Hoppy Easter!" These cute bunnies are from "No Bunny Like You" from The Angel Company. The frame is from QuicKutz. Edge punch from Fiskars. The fun paper is from The Angel Company, Pop Rockz.
I do have more to share! But need to wait until next week. It is Seminar for The Angel Company and I have been busy making trades, prop swap, and other goodies!!! It is a fun time - and the new catalog is revealed! So excited!!!
Enjoy your weekend ~ and be sure to stop back by again soon!

TWO STREET SCRAPPER'S CHEER
Wow! I can't believe how long it has been since I have posted! Tells you what kind of winter it has been! I have a fun cheer to share with you! In February some gal pals and I had our second annual Two Street Scrappers retreat. It was over Valentine's Day weekend held at a lovely B-n-B on the outskirts of Fairbanks. Food, friends, scrapbooking - the "love" was in the air! LOL
So, our lovely friend Ramona kept saying this cheer that her girls used to say when they were younger and we decided to put our town spin on it... as we laughed at all the lovely stuff we had brought and were able to share! Here we go!!!
TWO STREET SCRAPPER'S CHEER
Totally, for sure,
Like I'm such a paper whore.
My Visa, I swear,
Is maxed out from too much wear.
$99, $54,
I think I own the entire store.
Eyelets, Brads & Bling galore,
How can I embellish more?
Spend, spend
More, more
Spend, spend
More, more
Where's the closest Scrapbook Store?!
Written and copy righted by the "Two Street Scrappers" - 2009 Retreat
Have a terrific weekend!

Weekend with the Girls in San Antonio and "Escape" with The Angel Company
Again, sitting in an airport... gotta love layovers! Great time to post! :)
This past weekend was such a treat! I got to see some of my favorite "peeps," stamp, make cute little scrapbooks, eat good food, drink some margaritas, see my friend Marcee, and shop!!!!! Oh!
Where to start... flew into San Antonio on Wednesday. Stayed with the hostess with the mostest, Stephany. She picked me up from the airport in this totally hot RED Dodge Challenger. What a sweet ride! It was hilarious watching the guys that we drove by turn their heads to check out the car! LOL Thursday evening was the ClubMED dinner to kick off Escape with The Angel Company. It is always so great to see other angels. The weekend was full of cute projects, the release of "Serendipity," the spring magalogue from TAC. LOVE the new stamp sets!!! Oh my goodness - cute, fun, elegant, and more!!! Friday night we had our own "jewelry" making party with Heather. She makes these most awesome antique button rings and pendants. I went a bit crazy with all those buttons! Wow! This girl is onto something...

Saturday, I was able to meet up with a friend from Montana, Marcee. It was so awesome to have dinner with her and catch up!!! We haven't seen each other in like 14 years!!! Time sure flies!!! Later in the evening, we decided to take a carriage ride through the downtown area. The carriage drive let me drive for a block or so! It was too much fun. We froze though! Who would have guessed that a cold front would go through San Antonio! LOL

What A Way To Start The New Year!!!
I am trying to type this post while walking on the treadmill, we will see how this goes... nothing like multi-tasking!!! LOL
So, for the title and the stories to go along with it...
NSR... living in Alaska always seems to offer its "firsts." This year - only on day 9, has been pretty well full of them. A new one pretty much every day! LOL
First - we are on like day 13 of days that haven't gotten warmer than like 30 below zero. It has been miserably cold here and the ice fog is just not even worth complaining about it is so bad! I am just so much looking forward to even 20 below zero! I am tired of having square tires and bouncing down the road for the first 5 minutes of driving... tired of wearing my heavy Sorel boots, tired of not being able to breath, and tired of having flat hair from wearing my hood (vain, I know... but I have this thing with my hair being flat! LOL)!!!! One good thing about all of this is that we are gaining daylight by about 4 minutes a day now - which is awesome! :)
Still NSR... I got to go to Defensive Driving School! It wasn't really bad at all, in fact I learned a few things and the teacher had some good stories. Why did I go? I got a ticket - for not pulling into the far left lane on the highway while passing a cop that had someone else pulled over. I did slow down a whole bunch and scooted over to the far side of my lane, but I guess that isn't the way it works here anymore. Now I know! LOL At least I got out of a ticket...
NOW NSR!!! Be sure to check out the post below regarding the 50% off stamp sale that The Angel Company is having! The prices on my website are the discounted price. It includes all current "T" coded stamps ~ if you have a catalog handy... there are "R" coded stamps too.
www.candi.ismyangel.net
I need to download some picts onto this laptop so that I can have some to post while I am on my "walk." I guess that I worked out pretty good as long as the speed wasn't too fast! Maybe this will help inspire me to workout more often! LOL
Have a great weekend!
