Another Blog Hop with TAC!
It is another Blog Hop with The Angel Company.
This card I made for a swap this past month. I used a Nestie label and cut part of the side off, inke it with Versamark Dazzle in Champagne and distressed with brown. The green is distressed as well - Burnt Umber Palette. The star got a little Spica glitter pen action and the donkey - isn't he cute! - is a Copic colored creation.
Enjoy!
(sorry about the shadow - I took it with my Iphone...)

The Angel Company Halloween Blog Hop!
What a fun day it has been popping in to see all the awesome Halloween cards from talents "angel" stampers participating in The Angel Company Blog Hop! I had to jump in on the fun - but haven't had time yet to create my own card for the Blog Hop - I suddenly remembered that I had Halloween cards that I didn't send out last year! LOL I totally was inspired by Barb Foster - she is the Halloween Queen - and lately my idol - no Barb, not stalking! LOL :) So here a few cards that I made (CASED) last October - that WILL go into the mail or be given out this year! ROFL!!! All stamps are from The Angel Company. Colored with Copics.

Loving the Emmo Stamps!
This first card is a birthday card for our little friend Kylie! Her favorite color is green - and she is way into Twilight series stuff. She is really funny. :) We miss being their neighbor. Stamps and paper are all digi from TiddlyInks. Colored with Copics. I should have taken a photo of the inside of the card as well - rats! - anyway... there is a larger skull cupcake on the inside - colored to look just like the digi paper. Loving this digi stuff!
This second card is a birthday - sweet 16 - for my step-daughter. She too loves green - and this summer she wanted one of those little hats this emmo girl is wearing. I thought that the image fit her to a tea! :) The stamped image is back with black animal print embossed felt and lace. Stamp is from Tickled Pink.

BLog Hop - Halloween!
I almost forgot!!!! Good thing I was thinking about posting!
Here is my Blog Hop Halloween card - I also used it for a swap - sorry if you are getting a sneak peak girls! :)
Stamps are from The Angel Company - the BOO stamp may be found in Inspiration Avenue, called Spookalicious. The polka dots and stars are a hostess set from Inspiration Avenue. Have to earn those! :) The Fleur-De-Lis is from the Serendipity supplement - Fanciful Vintage. The beaded fringe and lace I purchased at a craft store forever ago. Rest of the products may be found on my TAC website: candi.ismyangel.net.

Christmas in July Blog Hop!
This is the first blog hop that I have participated in - fun! fun! Although - I don't like the card that I am posting. I just got home from a weekend of hosting a family a camp for Wounded Warrior Families - so my card was done last week before I left in a bit of a hurry - probably not the best way to start off a blog hop - but alas, sometimes other priorities take over.
Enjoy and be sure to visit the others!

Easter Card
Hope your Monday was great! I was so tired today. I couldn't sleep last night... hopefully I can get some good shut-eye tonight!
Thought that I would share my Easter card for this year. I made it for a swap - and received my swaps today. WOW!!! Those girls done good!!!
The purple and pink eggs were made by stamping with Versamark and then embossing on white CS with white EP. Then I squished an ink pad (Pallette) over the die cut egg (Quickutz - grass too). The yellow one I just used a stamp that had lots of fill. The stamps are from The Angel Company. The cute little lace border is a die from Sizzix - a Hello Kitty border one.
The last few photos that I have uploaded I have been lazy and taken with my iphone. The quality is totally awesome - but it works... Wish my Nikon camera had an email function... hmmm... maybe I need to email Nikon tomorrow! LOL
happy stamping!

Birthday Thank Yous
Well - I turned 35 this week. I keep telling myself it is just a number - but another milestone in life too! I have the terrific girlfriends here - and a very sweet hubby... He contacted my girlfriends before he left for his TDY and these girls - they rock! (so does hubby!) ... they planned this very fun surprise birthday for me and Saturday night. I sat with my friend Jen at the bazaar all day on Saturday and she was good... I didn't have a clue! Alysia brought over Mexican food for dinner and just as we were finishing up - Jen, Kara and Rori showed up with a yummmy chocolate cake, balloons, and fun birthday gifts! LOVING my new Lolita Margarita birthday wine glass -and the Moscato was yummy too. Anyway... that was fun - and then Monday Aleisa cooked birthday lunch for me (Jen & Robert and Christine joined in!) and this cake that was to die for! It was a yellow cake with vanilla pudding - two layers - and inbetween the layers was Nutella. Yumm! Chocolate frosting covered the cake too. So yummy! What a terrific Birthday - even with hubby out of the country... totally a day to remember! :) So with that - I just had to make the girls thank you cards. I received the You Rock stamp set from Taylored Expressions and was soo looking for a reason to use it. So - "You Rock" thank you cards it is! I pretty much cased a card that I found on the Taylored Expressions blog - but changed up the colors and a made mine a bit simpler - yet more distressed. The You Rock stamp actually has the saying in one line - but I cut it in half and made it two lines instead. I also made envelopes for the cards because I didn't have any to fit a 5 1/2" square card. So easy! LOVED it! Fun too!
Notice the blanket that I put these on? I thought that the colors matched nicely - AND wanted to share a pict of one of my winter crochet projects. I become a crocheting fool December and January! I crocheted three afghans and TONS of little flowers. I have been trying to use up my rather extensive yarn stash. Getting there!
Have fantastic week!

New Chair!
Moving out of our old house - into the new house created quite a challenge for my craft room! I went from having things spread out in cupboards through an entire basement - to a bedroom. I do LOVE it though! I used gorilla shelves on both sides of the room and LOTS of plastic bins that I took hours to sort and label. I love the colors that the room is - and that it is actually somewhat decorated.
My sweet hubby got me a new chair for my craft room for my birthday! I had my eye on it for awhile. It is a perfect match for my new craft room! Sorry the picture is fuzzy though!
I get to spend some time stamping/scrapping on Saturday with my friend Alysia. Yeah!
Have a great rest of the week!

Bazaar Weekend!
If you are out and about in Fairbanks/North Pole this weekend - head on out to Eielson for the Spring OSC Bazaar! It will promise to be nice a gorgeous drive! I will be there with my friends Jen (Incredibows) and Summer (lovely fleece blankets) and Aleisa (trustworthy booth assistant!)
I am going to be having a HUGE stamp sale! It is a "BOGO" type of a sale... Buy one, get one half off... and then get one FREE!!!! Can't beat that! And prices on new, retired, new/used stamps sets are already marked down from original price. I will also have loads of TAC's gorgeous paper and miscellaneous papercrafting embellishments. Anyone that purchases $30 worth of goodies from me this weekend will receive a FREE stamp and a FREE TAC catalogue! Again - can't beat that!!!
Don't live in the area? Not to worry - I will post stamps for sale with picts ASAP.
I am officially retiring from doing stamping/papercrafting workshops - but will stay active as a hobbyist while I can with The Angel Company. New aspirations...
I totally have spring fever! Can't wait for the snow to melt!!! We bought a house in January - it is a beautiful home and I thank God for such a wonderful blessing (and our realtor for shopping Craig's list for us! LOL) - and if the yard is half as nice as I think it is... well, I just can't wait!!! The previous owner has put in planters and a raised bed garden, blueberry bushes, and a lovely brick patio off the back. I have NEVER been much of a gardener - but think that I will try my hand at it this summer. Guess I better get busy reading the Alaska Gardener's manual! ;)
Have a glorious spring day!!!
